This is a cartoon I worked on with the winner of the Helen Vitoria Haynes

Animation Scholarship Competition. All of the sound was edited by me. Also please keep in

mind that all of the video and audio on this page has been substantially compressed for

space and streaming.

This was a project that I worked on with my friend Chris Baine. It was a final project

for a film foley class we took in college. About 95% of the sound effects heard were recorded

by us. We pulled the sound effects that we did not have access to such as the

Horse, chainsaw and shotgun effects.

 

The inherent problem with putting sound design effects on a web site or in a portfolio is

that a true sound design is all about context and creating an aural space within the theatre.

Putting random sound effects on a web site is kind of pointless, nonetheless,

here they are. This was a show I did called "Rage Is Not A One Day Thing." I recorded the

Voices and built these cues. Also the files are compressed for space and streaming. So enjoy.

fade from beginning to end. Enjoy.
